The Louisiana Master Naturalist Certification Program connects you with Louisiana's natural heritage through academic lectures and field workshops taught by leading experts in ecology, biology, geomorphology, and resource management.

Applications Closed

Applications for certification as a Louisiana Master Naturalist in the Greater New Orleans chapter are now closed.

Applications will reopen in February 2027 for new classes beginning Fall 2027 (August – December 2027) and January 2028 (January – May 2028).

A non-refundable application fee of $25 will be applied when the application is filed.
