About the Annual Gathering

Our Annual Gathering brings together certified naturalists and those in training for an unforgettable weekend of education and exploration. This year’s program at Bogue Chitto State Park offers diverse habitats, scenic river systems, and unique geological features perfect for nature study.

    • Friday afternoon arrival and welcome reception
    • Saturday full day of field sessions and workshops
    • Saturday evening social and keynote presentation
    • Sunday morning activities and closing ceremony
    • Meals and accommodations included in registration
    • Bedding (sheets, blankets, pillow) or sleeping bag
    • Towels and personal toiletries
    • Field gear: binoculars, field guides, journal
    • Weather-appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes
    • Water bottle and day pack
    • Camera and enthusiasm!
