Bayou Sauvage Urban NWR May 10th event

From Ranger Giessell with the Bayou Sauvage National Urban Wildlife Refuge...

Dear partners,

We’d love to invite the LA Master Naturalists to join us for our biggest Saturday at the Refuge event by hosting a table! In addition, we're currently looking for volunteers to assist with setup and breakdown, as well as help manage food and parking throughout the day.

See the event flyer, event map, and volunteer flyer—please feel free to share them widely with your networks!

Also, we wanted to let you know that our previously scheduled FWS biologist, who was set to lead a bird walk, is no longer with us due to recent staffing changes. If you know anyone who might be interested in leading the bird walk, we’d love to connect with them.

Thank you so much for your continued support—we truly appreciate it!
Best,
Giessell
